Founded in 1988, Kang Hsuan Educational Publishing Group has become one of the most influential publishing companies in primary and junior schools and the pioneer in digital materials in Taiwan. With our mission “refining the quality of material” and “implementing the practice of material”, Kang Hsuan pays special attention not only to the content of textbooks but also to the design of multimedia.

In Taiwan, students are deprived of learning motivation as a consequence of an exam-led learning environment. We are reluctant to see that happens. Therefore, Kang Hsuan Educational Publishing Group has founded Kang Chiao Bilingual School adapting bilingual teaching and learning approaches from kindergarten to senior high school. Throughout their 15-year coherent education with us, we strive to bring up an intellect with high morality, rich knowledge and good fitness through curriculum design, classroom and extra-curricular activities. No matter what challenges students face, they can always overcome and perform brilliantly in college exams and in arts competitions. Especially, Kang Chiao has built up its high reputation by the guidance of our superintendant Charlie Chang over the past 10 years.

In 2012, invited by the People’s Government of Kuanshan, Kang Chiao International School was formally introduced to Mainland China. Aligning with educational aspects of our Taipei campus, that is, “developing the international minded intellect and bring children a bright future”, Kang Chiao International School is devoted to provide a bilingual learning environment to local students.

Being located in Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, Kang Chiao International School will officially open its door in September 2014. Through the hard work of our preparatory team, full support from Huaqiao Authorities and great assistance from Kang Hsuan, it is expected that Kang Chiao International School East China Campus brings together an excellent future in education.

In 2002, the Chairman of Kang Hsuan Educational Publishing Group, Mike Lee, founded Kang Chiao Bilingual School.
In alignment with curriculum standards and learning objectives set by the Taiwanese government, the school intends to adopt a language immersion model, English teaching materials from California and native English speakers to bring about bilingual learning experiences. Every student is equipped with fundamental knowledge both in English and Chinese to become a bilingual intellect. Our remarkable university acceptance rates prove the accomplishment of Kang Chiao bilingual approaches. For example, 92% of our graduates have been accepted by American Top 100 universities and 48% of them are accepted by Top 100 universities in the world. Moreover, those who preferred to pursue their further studies were all accepted by well-kwon Taiwanese universities.

Besides knowledge acquisition, our school provides a variety of extra-curricular activities such as climbing Jade Mountain, swimming across Sun Moon Lake, and cycling around Taiwan. Those initiatives and challenges strengthen students’ concentration, leadership, social and problem solving skills. We believe that what students have learned from here are lessons valuated for a lifetime.

With the support of the Hauqiao Authorities, we are intending to transfer such successful teaching and learning experiences to China. It is our grand honor to introduce Kang Chiao Bilingual Education to Mainland China. Aligning with the global awareness, localization, coherent education, refined education, technological advancement and cultural enrichment, our missions established in Taiwan ensure that every student experiences a western education in an Eastern style.

Kang Chiao International School East China Campus (KCISEC) is a member of Kang Hsuan Educational Publishing Group which was founded by the great publisher in education, Mike Lee. KCISEC provides high quality education in a stimulating environment. We aim to produce an elite with international mindedness through six goals of our educational beliefs: global awareness, localization, coherent education, refined education, technological advancement and cultural enrichment. KCISEC believes that it is our responsibility to serve as facilitators for the development of each child’s maximum potential academically, physically, socially, and emotionally.

In our high schools, KCISEC offers the California Curriculum Standards and Common Core State Standards for language, arts and mathematics. Based on the individual development of abilities, students can choose challenging programs that is, AP or IBDP, for the last two years of high school education. That is to say our curriculum is aligned with education objectives set by challenging programs and provides engaging learning experiences.

All our foreigner teachers are from English speaking countries and possess at least 2 years of teaching experience in his/her specialized subjects. KCISEC has also his own College Counselling Office who facilitates the process of University application around the world. We bring only talented and dedicated faculty members to KCISEC, actively seeking to build a community of learners.

After graduating from KCISEC, we expected that our students are prepared not just for university, but for life.

Kunshan Kang Chiao School was established in 2014, with a vision of "Nurturing International Leaders, Preparing Students for a Beautiful Future". Through efforts of previous and current principals, the primary school continues to help students enhance their critical thinking skills by providing a diverse learning space which accommodates Chinese and International education. Through China National Curriculum along with Kang Chiao school-based curriculum, we focus on students’ bilingual competence, creativity, love for nature, and a sense of self exploration. The objective is to cultivate the next generation of global citizens who have international mindedness.

In addition to implementing the school's vision, mission, and goals, our important task is to help our students enjoy learning in a happy and healthy environment, and empower them to realize their full potential through a broad and balanced curriculum across all subjects, such as English learning, comprehensible subject teaching, Kang Chiao Time (school-based transdisciplinary project), project-based learning, mental health education, adventure education courses, and diverse club activities.

In order to create conducive and efficient class, our school encourages students to carefully listen to their teachers and peers, enthusiastically share their ideas, freely ask questions, and effectively learn under the premise of balanced development of body, brain, heart, and spirit. Whether our students will study abroad or pursue further education in China in the future, we aim to ensure that all of our students acquire higher levels of thinking and living skills in a safe and caring learning environment.
